About this project
This project in Bangladesh supports the start-up of an internet
school. Several courses are offered, from basic functionalities to
the more experienced use.
Young students have the chance to learn the vital basics of
computer education as this often makes the difference to find a job
or study further. Doing so, they can improve their harsh living
circumstances and make a change not only for themselves, but also
for their family and community.
In Dhaka, Taslima will be the ambassador for the local
Asha project. By using her laptop, she has been able to follow the
education necessary to coordinate the project and help run a fair
trade initiative offering a job to about 15 women.
Next to that, Tasilma will be giving regular feedback on the
progress made. This way, the YouBridge community can follow the
progress made and can further support the initiative.
The local ambassador will be working closely together with the
Asha Fair Trade & YouBridge project. He or she will help to
organize the courses and be able to give regular feedback on the
progress made to the YouBridge community.
